            Summary: MediKeep stores your medical documents locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal health information. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

MediKeep is designed with privacy at its core. We do not:

Collect or store your medical documents on our servers
Track your personal health information
Sell or share your data with third parties
Require you to create an account
Use analytics or advertising frameworks that access your documents

2. Information Stored Locally

All information you enter or import into the App, including but not limited to:

Medical documents, images, and PDFs
Patient names and health-related notes
Hospital and doctor information
Document metadata and tags

is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in storage and database technologies. You maintain full control over this data at all times.

3. In-App Purchases

MediKeep offers a one-time PRO upgrade through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.

4. Sharing and Export

You may choose to share or export documents from the App using native iOS features such as the system share sheet, AirDrop, or saving to your Photos library. Any sharing is initiated and controlled by you. We do not access or transmit your documents during these actions.

5. Data Security

Your data is protected by Apple's device-level security, including encryption when your device is locked with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We recommend enabling a device passcode to protect your health information.

6. Children's Privacy

MediKeep is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you can:

Access, edit, or delete any information at any time within the App
Delete the App to remove all locally stored data
Use iOS device backups or iCloud backups at your own discretion

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
